What are you doing right now??

Fedx and USPS has got to be the worst ever. the other day fedx brought my package in state and then took it back to indiana, now they went from there to Memphis Tenn. and then here and back to poduct junction Texas. Now they don't know when it will be delivered.

The postal service was supposed to deliver my gun to the LGS two days ago, then they said today, now it's they don't know when it will be delivered. its been stuck at a post office 30 miles from me for 3 days.
woulda been cheaper for you to go and get your stuff, either by plane, train or automobile....

just as long as you didn't catch a ride on a FedEx plane, God only knows you'd be in East Japeepee........

welp, i was brewing a pot of coffee, for it to become iced coffee....we LOVE iced coffee..

everything went well,

fill Mr. Coffee with 14 cups of water

add coffee to filter

turn on

wait till its done

then shut off Mr. Coffee

only Mr. Coffee became Mr. Belligerent and would not shut off....

we buy the plain and simple...on/off Mr. Coffee

no gizmo's, no clocks, no radio, no nuffin, but a simple on/off Mr. Coffee

well, my wife appreciates it when i buy not 1...but "up to" 3 Mr. Coffee's at wally's world emporium, when only 1 goes kaputz....

that way, we have a back up any time..

same with toasters.........1 goes kaputz, buy 2 or 3 to replace it....

same with the can opener......buy 2 or 3 as spares....

the "last time" we bought a Mr. Coffee, it was $19.99 at wally's world.

now, that same model is no longer available.....at least not at wally's world.

so i was able to get them on amazon.

the caraf is much different, on the one at wally's world, and we keep those, when the machine gets trashed.....since they are made of glass, best to keep'em on hand.

some people have a closet full of clothing, they never wear anymore, or are seasonal clothing.

we have 1 closet chuck full of Mr. Coffee, toasters, cake batter mixers, and can openers.

if the wife and i die, the kids will be able to have a garage sale of NIB appliances......

it could be worse.......we had a relative that bought cookies, after cookies, after cookies.......

cookies every where.....some were like packages that were 4 years old...........

at least, our stock of appliances, being NIB, can be used after 4 years...but all those cookies..?????

I'M finally a SAINT

Watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, chasing a buzz, but I overdid at dinner.......

Spent most of the day over at Mom's, had her give me a lesson on cooking her beef stew. I took my BIG pressure cooker over for the lesson.

Used nearly four pounds of stew meat, 9 medium russet potatoes diced, half a bag of baby carrots sliced, half a chopped white onion, 17 bullion cubes, chopped celery, four pounds of sweet corn, black pepper to taste, nearly a cup of pureed garlic, and corn starch to thicken it all up.

All that ONLY filled my 5 gallon pressure cooker to just below the half full mark..

And then I ate too much........LOL

Have not used a pressure cooker in 30 yrs. Mom used one all the time for veal with linguini.
Your recipe sounds great👍

I make a 5lb lasagna with 2 lbs of ground beef.. 3lbs of sausage.. 2 boxes of noodles. 4 jars of sauce, 4 small bags of mozz, 2 bag of parm and one 16oz container of ricotta

Its a beast
i actually right now, have several boxes of no boil lasagna noodles....i was supposed to make several small lasagna's for the wife and me, and our grand kids...but as i mentioned some time ago, the wife got sick, so that went south...but i still plan on baking those lasagna's ASAP.

grand kids have not have an overnight weekend in weeks now, then miss mama.....not me as much...the dirty bastoidavitches.........

Man all this food talk is making me hungry. My mom and grandmother used to make food like that. Being from Italy they made all the dishes you are talking about. When they passed so did all the great food.
today in fact, i bought 2 more packages of "potato gnocchis" at Market Basket....2 for $4.00...great price...THAT i will indeed cook for the wife and me this Wednesday...you know, what's supposed to be "Prince s'ghetti Day.....

i also bought 4 jars of Prego traditional tomato sauce....

friday night, i made us s'ghetti with olive oil and roasted garlic, with provolone cheese slices and parmesan topping cheese.

wife likes it when i cook, she cleans as i go along.....

i still don't get an "noogie".....later..........
