Just got back from the range. Was supposed to go yesterday by the honey dos caught up with me. .22 rifle n 9mm pistol shootin. Tried the wifes m&p 15-22 and will be buying from palmetto today. I plan to put a PA SLx 1x microprism on it. Shoot it a little while before I decide to buy some volquartsen upgrades

Today was supposed to be my range day, but something came up that I had to have done, so my range day was cancelled. I still have a date with my daughter for tomorrow for her range day. Last week I took her to the range and let her practice with a Walther P-22. She loved it and did great. I wish I had taken some pictures but didn't. And she wanted to keep all of her targets to show her boyfriend. Tomorrow, she steps up to my wife's S&W .380 EZ. Maybe the next time after that we will bump her up to my wife's S&W 9mm EZ. Once she is proficient with iron sights, I'll let her have a go of my Hellcat RDP and HK VP9SK. The Hellcat has a red dot sight (which I don't like), and my HK has a Holosun green dot SCS, which I love. At some point, as long as she still is interested, I'll pay for and arrange for her to get some professional instruction. I don't kid myself. I've had years of experience and lots of training, but I am no instructor. I can absorb all kinds of knowledge, but I don't have the patience or temperament to be an instructor.

Well ordered the SW M&P 15-22 from Palmettos and the PA SLx 1x? I decided against. I went to Optics Planet instead and bot a Sig Romeo5 gen 2 instead. Cheaper n lighter. Had some “bucks” there so saved $45
