We had a papa bear wood burning stove in the basement in Maine and about 10 cords of wood. Swear we chopped wood for months in the summer. House had furnace to kick in after stove went out in wee hours of morning, but we stoked it in winter when we were awake .
Long time since I heated with wood.

A couple days ago I mounted the Holosun on the TRP and zeroed it and it was spot on. Yesterday the posse came out and we ran some steel drills and I was all over the targets. Got back to the house and realized the screws on the optic had backed out and the optic was just flopping around on the mounting plate. I had locktited it and torqued to specs but it wasn't enough. So last night more lock tite and a little more torque. This afternoon I'll try again and see if the problem repeats.

Do wait at least 24 hours to cure before shooting?

YES. BUT I think the recommended torque setting for the screws of 15 in lbs is not enough.

Same here. This has become a trend over the last several years and not just for Halloween. Everyone seems to be in a Go Big, or Go Home mindset. My next door neighbors have gone crazy the last several years because they keep trying to win the best decorated house award. You can see their place from space even when there’s no holiday!

Gassin up the truck. Heading back to the mountains to see the last of the fall colors and the first snowfall. Helped my buddy yesterday get his rifles for deer hunting in order. Ran a brush thru the 270 several times and watched the rust come out in a dusty mist. Got it cleaned up n lightly oiled. Scope reset, he’s ready to go. Looking forward to my drive today. Blessings!
