What are you doing right now??

We got home this morning at around 01:15. Got to bed by 2, up at 8:30. The wind must have been brutal through here at one point because one of our smaller juniper trees snapped completely off, the garbage can had tipped over and moved about six feet, and our thin blue line and thin red line flags got really tattered (and they are/were high quality, double stitched, embroidered stars flags 😞. They were not cheap. The Stars and Stripes seems to be holding up well, along with the POW/MIA and the Air Force flags. I guess I need to hunt down some hurricane resistant flags...

Now it's raining and windy/cold. Good afternoon to sit in front of the fireplace. It's good to be home 🙂.

You need "inclement weather " flags, they're smaller, and meant for bad weather.

Putting up with my city.
To the Indians, today is a big day.
Citywide folks from India have had “christmas” lights up for weeks to celebrate Diwali. They then leave them up to celbrate “Christmas”🤨🙄
Fireworks going off citywide. More robes and gowns around here than jeans and capri pants 🙄

Diwali is the "Festival of Lights," a five-day celebration of good over evil and light over darkness that is mainly celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and some Buddhists. It commemorates various events, such as the return of Lord Rama after defeating the demon king Ravana in northern India and the victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Narakasura in southern India. Celebrations include lighting oil lamps
diyas
), decorating homes, sharing food and sweets, and performing prayers to deities like Lakshmi (goddess of wealth) and Ganesha (god of good luck).
