Just finished reviewing my pay statement and YTD has me wondering why in the blue hell I'm working (other than being addicted to eating, a warm place to put my head, not being naked, and of course my hobby . That was depressing, so I am getting ready to go out, maybe blow a few holes in paper. It's cold and grey outside but maybe I'll go for a walk in the woods. I love the smell of wet leaves.

took out of state relative to the range two days in a row. He did much better on day 2. Euro common target ammo, glock 34. The lady beside us not so well, she missed about 40+ rounds at a ten yard distance 20" target. She was using a Ruger LCP max and eventually was able to print on the paper, her husband clearly was not a skilled teacher. The rest of us politely watched, with the ROs, and did not intervene this time. Good weather, good times.

Went chootin a bit, this foxtrot Mike is awesome. the rifle i picked up yesterday 45 auto. shot everything suppressed. THE tree even told me it had orgasmic flashes when i leaned it against it. First target is some old Geco 45 ammo i had and the second is 10 rounds Remington subsonic

locating "stores that were there in the past"

i was talking with an old buddy of mine, and we could not recall what dept stores were in a particular spot.

well, after searching for about 30- 45 minutes, i got the information, thanks to history of my state.

funny, how one store bought out the original, then they go bankrupt, then the buyer goes bankrupt, then the 3rd one as well....

funny cuz i think the "Big shopping malls"...wiped them out....now, those big shopping malls, go like at 70 percent (or less) fully occupied these days.

Range trip went well -- the TX-22 still is a piece of but did put a few down range. The Remington Targetmaster Model 41 did much better. 3" group with 10 rounds at 25 yards and iron sights.

Chinese buffet did well -- didn't get stupid THIS time.

Watching local news and getting ready to take a shower and watch something interesting on tv. Tile floor in bathroom done and will be ready to use tomorrow. Toilet installed and just making sure grout is dry. I did not purchase a new vanity after i saw the prices for them. I will prime and paint the old one. Will be cooler tonight. I might go to the range first thing in the morning if I feel up to it. Hope everyone has a great Friday night!

Get a CCW permit and walk out with it in 5 minutes.

I have a permit for my current state and a non-resident AZ permit. I used to have a permit for CA but had to give it back when I moved. A quick check is still required here. Usually it's pretty fast, less than 10 minutes but the system gets backed up occasionally. I waited an hour. If I'd waited another 5 minutes I could've walked out with it. I didn't want to be late for my gig. It'll be there tomorrow. I missed it by thaaaaat much.
