My doc called it Trigger Finger and it was the third finger on the right hand. It took a year and a half of wearing a splint which you can buy on Amazon. Last August was when I stopped wearing the splint. Still have to be careful it can come back and I don't need another year of a splint. Both hands give me problems from racing scooters and fighting oh and a couple of dances with guys with knives. That damn splint really made writing look like a scribble. Only cortisone shot have had is for the arthritis in shoulders and hip but may have to get shots for wrist and thumb joints. Hope it gets better soon for you. Thanks BET7. So far don't think my shooting hasn't been affected and my only pain occurs when pushing the fingers back into place. My research lead me to think surgery would be needed if the steroid injections didn't work, hope not.
Thanks Oldmountainman. Have only been wearing the splints a short while don't know if they really help that much. For many years hunted and competed with heavy recoiling revolvers, break-open and bolt action type handguns in rifle calibers. Hoping the steroid injections work and don't need surgery. My doc called it Trigger Finger and it was the third finger on the right hand. Have you tried DMSO? It works. It helps arthritis and back pain. It is inexpensive and works so well gub launched a campaign against it to protect pharmaDid more research on Trigger Finger. Obtained finger splints for use during sleeping and they seem to help some. Have an appointment with my Orthopedic surgeon for follow-up on my hip problem and will request steroid injections in the affected fingers. Based upon what I've read steroids are very effective for trigger finger.
I have the P226 XFive in Legion, Classic & Reserve. For me, by far I love the Reserve and is the main reason I ordered Sig’s new P320 SXG Reserve model. The P226 Reserve was the most expensive of the 3 (especially with including the Sig Romeo X optic I had installed when I bought it), but it was worth it. I might go with the Romeo X Sig Loc optics (which is on one of my Sig P211 GTO’s), for the P320 Reserve as I’m liking that optic (especially the green circle dot version (my P211 currently has the red circle dot RXSL model)).Wife likes her P6 Xfive’s so much she bot herself a Reserve Collection P6 Xfive. The first time I felt jealousy over a relationship she is having outside of me lol.
I like the 45 LC hopefully I will get one along with a mule, make a great combo for the highHenry 45LC, thought i had it sighted in the first time. guess not. had to move rear sight. was hitting left. sights on this gun are for young mens eyes. lol i can't see that gold bead on the front.
