I'm tired. Been a long day. On a positive note, my sister from Kansas is talking to me again. I'm the monkey in the middle again but hey, whatever. Families shouldn't be like that.
I did make it to the range, which made my freakin' day. They actually missed me there. Finished breaking in the CC9, and tried out my newest orphan, which I'll tell you about tomorrow because I'm just too dang tired to get into it right now. Things are stable right now, so I'm running with that...right to bed. Yeah, the 3AM mornings are ruining me. Doesn't help when the sun hits the horizon at 4:30PM 😒. Used to be my favorite time of year, but I'm rethinking that. The weirdness is wearing off I guess :ROFLMAO:.

Worked a hard day today, haircut at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Catching an early flight to Austin Monday morning to visit family for Thanksgiving. Mom will be 88 this year, step dad (Dad) will be 93. Both of them are still very active with church, dance group etc... my daughter, son inlaw and 2 G babies are in the same town. will see four sisters and two step brothers, one step sister. I am second youngest child at 59 years old. Plenty to be thankful for indeed.
GOD IS GOOD!
Plan to visit Staccato Ranch while there, 45 miles away, no tour or experience available that week due to holiday, but store and museum will be open.

Wishing all of my TAL family a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

You can pick your friends, but you're stuck with family for better or worse.
Friends come and go, I would die for my family as they would for me. Sadly, not always the case. It starts with upbringing, minding your sirs and ma'ams. Giving respect to elders as well as other family members without judgment. Sadly that is a way of life that is quickly evaporating.

Watching replay of practice #3 the cool weather is giving them fits.
I remember starting in a race on saturday night, it started light snow right as we were lining up for the race. i started third inside best i remember and was running second about half way through and it started snowing really hard. we had 10 more laps to go and they turned the red lights on which meant we had to stop not keep going in circles like with a yellow light.

They then sent people around to our cars to tell us to load up they were cancelling the race. i didn't care i was getting paid for second anyway and i was freezing. we had no windows. the fire suits were kinda warm though.

Hi,

Been on and off the phone pretty steady since last night. My 94 year old dad in in the hospital, but there is some question whether he has C diff or not. Regardless, he doesn't want to eat or drink and is down to 113 pounds. I hate being so far away. Anyway, I woke up with a massive headache which is finally starting to fade. I have stuff to do, and I want to hit the range, so I better get moving while the phone is silent. The husband should be home (finally) sometime tomorrow and he'll actually be home next week, so I have to get groceries. Fun times in the mid west... 😎.

Praying for your Dad, peace, strength, and comfort. Praying the same for your family.

Cliff
