well, the usual early morning errands, after 4 cups of coffee, to get the heart started.
and wouldn't you know it, it's raining.....
and
my passenger side wiper, decides to tear, and now i need to get new wipers, which is ok, they lasted me nearly 19 months, not bad.........they lasted that long....
Toyota branded wipers...
i never have any luck with other brands, like Anco, or Bosch, or any of the others.
so, i had to drop off the frozen foods at the house, and got over to the dealership, and they had a set in stock.
in retrospect, i could have gone to the dealer with the foods, but that "what if something happens along the way"...thought takes over, especially with foods.
and wouldn't you know it, it's raining.....

Critters fed. It will be a shop day with no interruptions working on cabinetry for daughter's house. After Thanksgiving building a 20'x 30' deck in her back yard, base cabinets for the media room, window seat and wall unit in granddaughter's bedrooom, butcher block countertop on the kitchen island, and more. She is keeping me busy! Finished the shelves in her butler's pantry yesterday so that room os done.

I've been up for a while, just enjoying the quiet (the phone has been silent - no news is good news). Thank you guys for the prayers and thoughts...means a lot. It's a new day and it's cold, but clear. We'll enjoy it while we can cuz we may be lambasted come the first week in December.
Today is the husband's birthday, and hopefully he only has to work half the day so he can get home before dark. Me...I have the usual stuff to keep me occupied. I have a pot luck dish to prepare for work...gonna do my Cowboy Beans. I've had pretty good luck with those..
. I thought I had all the ingredients here but it seems I'm short a couple of cans of chili beans and some of those little wienies everybody loves, so I'll trip it to the grocery store in a bit. I will find something nice for his birthday dinner too. Then of course there's the laundry thing. That can be going while I clean my guns. Yep, I think I have enough to do to keep me out of trouble for a while. Happy Saturday y'all!

Trying to get used to a new tv remote. While I don't really watch much tv, the wife enjoys all the shows she watches. So, she was always the one paying for Direct TV. She finally got fed up with another price increase and dumped them. She has a friend who knows a friend of a friend of another friend who knows this guy...well, you get the idea. Now we have these little magical tiny boxes hooked up to the TVs that somehow can show every movie and tv show known to mankind! Even Belf Fed's dirty movies! I asked her if this was legal, and she asked me if all my guns were legal. So, I just shut up and sat there looking pretty. My future is looking more and more like I'll be turning into a couch potato.
