Was watching NFL turkey day game, while I don’t like/watch the NFL since they went woke, I never miss the turkey day games, good game so far, till the halftime show came on with the rap music crap…..so it’s time for seconds on dinner…….

That is a beautiful scene. I hope you and hubby feel better soon. We've got a winter storm warning until 6pm Sunday. It will be an adventure getting to the kids' house on Saturday for our celebration. Today is leftovers and laundry, the dog show and the Packers game. Blessings to all.

This very wintry in these parts today. It’s 20 degrees, clear and sunny with a breeze from the northwest. The husband and I were invited to the daughter’s boyfriend’s family farm for a large gathering of turkey and potluck, but we are staying home instead. When I woke up my head felt like it weighed 20 pounds and my sinuses feel like someone snuck in and ran a chimney sweep brush through them. The husband is not feeling much better, so we are keeping the germs home with us rather than spreading them around to the crowd.
Not sure what we’ll have for dinner…maybe pizza?

Finally sitting down to a nice glass of wine. Cooking - smoking food since 7:30am. Put up some Christmas decorations for the wife. Cooking up a storm. My mom and my wifes mom arrive shortly.

Was good to see my mom even though her dementia is settling in more

Told my wife I would give her a holiday reprieve. Let her sit and enjoy while I handled the day. She deserved a rest.

Mrs Greener and I had beef shortribs. I have to get up at 0200 to start the fire in the smoker for the turkey. Hope I can sleep in tomorrow. Ha!
