What are you doing right now??

Went to the casino this morning and actually won some money. Then we went to lunch and drove back home. Husky was watching tv went we got back and was wondering where had gone. Finished plugging in the Christmas lights outside and hopefully everything will light up at dusk. Took Maggie for her walk and she seems to be happy. Beautiful day here with temps around 60 degrees. Watching the Eagles getting beat down by the Bears. It was a good after Thanksgiving day. We didn't do any black Friday shopping this year.

Believe it or not, I moved away from Southern California to be here in the Wild Wild Upper Midwest. This is our 4th winter here and I'm surprised at how much I enjoy it. I do miss the mountains and the desert though.

Hi,

I made it to town, got salt, spread it out on the driveway so I won't slip and fall in the snow. I also put up another little Christmas decoration outside, a lighted Nativity there under the "JOY".

Looks like I’ll be flying to FL next Friday. My dad was released from the hospital today and he is in hospice. My sister there, and my brother are staying with him, tag teaming so to speak, until my other sister from KS and I can get there next Friday. They are making him comfortable now, and once they start the morphine… well, we’ve been through this before. It’s hard, but I think it’s time. He’s hanging on for his kids right now. I feel better now knowing that he’s waiting for us, and he is not alone.

I’m going to put up our Christmas tree tomorrow, so the husband can help me. It’s big and I can usually do it myself, but stuff seems to be going sideways this year, so I won’t be a hero. 😎
