Packing daughters apartment.
Movers arrive tomorrow.
She moves home for 2 weeks. Off to Oklahoma to work Youth Cattle Expo, then off to Australia for 6 weeks, then home hopefully for a new job in Arkansas in May. Fingers crossed

Awesome, we need more young people like her.
We had a bank here long time ago that went broke, bad loans or something anyway took 2 trips to close out my account. So b4 on the last trip made sure to walk in a pile of dog Chit in the yard and skuffed my boots real good on the carpet going up to the teller, got my check and left. 10 mins. later rode by front door and thru the glass i could see they were spraying stuff and sweeping the carpet. I WON

Had the first cup and have taken the first walk with Maggie. I really like those 5am walks, very quiet and peaceful. Maggie has a vet appointment today for a checkup. I guess getting old for a dog also sucks. Other than that nothing else planned, another quiet day at home.

Conference call for work, then back to packing.

24° out there this morning. Broke ice in horse waterer. Critters fed, transporting granddaughter to school shortly, then back in front of the fire till it warms up. I have cabinets to build but too cold for glue ups. Maybe a good recliner and old movie day.

I am 25 miles north of the Gulf of America, it is usually 5-10 degrees colder than on the beach. I should not have to own a coat like I need today....

Take good care of yourself Bella.Sister and I spent the day with mom. Got her out of bed, showered and dressed, and whisked her off to get her hair done. We went to a little pizza place down the road for lunch because they never serve pizza at her place. Then we went out to visit my niece and her husband at their home in Christmas, FL.
On the way back to mom's place we stopped for ice cream. It was a good day with her. She seems to be doing well in her assisted living community. She needs to be coaxed sometimes to join in with activities, but the staff always makes sure she gets her meals and meds.
I am going to go up there tomorrow and get her up and take her to brunch, and get her caught up with things going on back home where I live. I am so glad I can have this time with her now, but I am ready to go home...bone chilling cold or not. Florida is waaaay too peopley for me.
