very much so
then i got in a mood and was not nice to a few "persons" at bass pro shop parking lot
they were all in JAMMIES and i said HEY this is not walmart .in a humorous tone, but they failed to see the humor, and kept walking... mrs boatr knocked me in the arm

frankly i am pissed off the bone remained splintered and not healed, when it happened the ortho guy said he could put in some safety wire and pins and the recovery would be 8 weeks.... flucking helllllll i would be all good now

at least its winter and outside sucks a bit

but at least the important metal is clean and waiting for a day

Christmas Day here is supposed to be 76. Which is crazy for N Tx. Beats rain and cold temps though. We’ll have a San Diego Christmas 😜

Just checked information my flight home tomorrow. I hope the blizzard they're having doesn't just sit there for a while, like some of them do. It's like they get lost and forget their trajectory or something :eek:. We went and took my brother shopping for groceries and then had lunch, so I got to say "see ya later" and Merry Christmas to him and his pup. Said my "byes" with mom last night, but she'll likely forget I was even there.

Sister and I are sitting on her balcony in hammocks. It's 76, cloudy and calm. I'll miss my family and the mild weather, but I am more than ready to be home.
 
well my day was busy...

off to the range for the yearly Christmas shooting contest..i had won 3 years in a row, using my Rock Island Armory .22 magnum, 1911.

this time....???

after 2 different days, nada....

today, took my Dan Wesson Heritage, that i used to qualify for my ccw.... for 2 consecutive permits

nada.

target must be set at 25 yards, cannot lean on the bench, cannot use optics (i never do anyway), but i do have to lean to make me stable...

today was my 3rd attempt...

no more now, this just wasn't my year.

oh well, the $5.00 each time, goes towards the local Vets for food and clothing, so it was still a "win" all 3 times.


then got home, did not clean the gun, but washed my 2 cars, it was up to 50 today, but heavy rain, and winds friday into saturday.

that's ok, cuz i wanted the road salts off the cars.

will clean the gun friday, i might go to my club, with another gun, maybe a 9mm, then get to have fun cleaning 2 guns.

Hi,

Season's Greetings to all. I hope @Belt Fed is feeling better soon. I pray travel mercies for @belladonna. I hope all goes well for the rest of you lunkheads, whether it be building or cooking or shopping.

Today I had lunch with the men's group from church. There was lively discussion about things going on. It's a good buncha guys. Then I was going to hit the range but decided to finish up some Christmas shopping and wrapping. I'll hit the range tomorrow. Our basement is a bit messy right now, but it's a good messy.
