What are you doing right now??

Just checked information my flight home tomorrow. I hope the blizzard they're having doesn't just sit there for a while, like some of them do. It's like they get lost and forget their trajectory or something . We went and took my brother shopping for groceries and then had lunch, so I got to say "see ya later" and Merry Christmas to him and his pup. Said my "byes" with mom last night, but she'll likely forget I was even there.

Sister and I are sitting on her balcony in hammocks. It's 76, cloudy and calm. I'll miss my family and the mild weather, but I am more than ready to be home.
Have a safe ride back to the frozen tundra!

Was a beautiful day here! Walks in and husky fed for the evening. I was also able to get the wife's car washed in the driveway. It also needed gas! Seems like the only time I get to drive it is to the gas station. Wanted to purchase a firearm today but store wanted way too much for it. Can find it online for $200 cheaper. They wouldn't go down one penny so I said have a Merry Christmas.

Hi,

I went to the range this afternoon, then took Mrs. BassCliff out for Friday fish fry. Mrs. BassCliff and I finished wrapping Christmas presents this evening. She was wrapping my presents as I was posting up my range report from this afternoon. I'm going to see if she's finished wrapping and then have a spot of eggnog before bed. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

I went to the dentist yesterday to have a broken tooth extracted. The tooth gave a valiant effort to hang on, but my petite dentist was persistent and eventually prevailed. It took a lot of numbing injections and it was late last night before Mrs Greener could understand what I was saying. I was able to request vegable shoup wiff shoda cackers. I was reminded of the Tim Conway skit

Working on second cup. First walk in with Maggie. It's not that cold here today. I did talk to my son last night. Was good to hear from him as I usually don't talk to him that often. Unfortunately it is what it is. Might take wife to the casino today and see if I can win enough for a new pistol.

A beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Got home last night…man, what a rude wind! It was like 5 degrees with a -22 windchill. Semis were having a rough time staying on the interstate. It felt really good to be home again, though.

This morning I woke up feeling like I had been run over by one of those semis. I think I was just a bit dehydrated though, because after several glasses of water and a cup of coffee, I felt more like a human being again. I’m taking it easy today. I did my laundry at my sister’s before I left, and the husband is working out of town tonight and tomorrow night, and he did his while I was away. I have no desire to leave the house today, as it’s very cold and still windy. The sun is out though, which is warming the house up nicely :giggle:

Glad you made it home the last several days haven't been very pleasant.

Glad you made it home safe Bella, just in time for Christmas. Huh, I think there's a Christmas song in there...

Before I retired, for a period it seemed I was in the air more than on the ground. Dehydration from airplanes is a thing. A U.K. detective friend convinced me that Guiness was just the thing.....
