i don't "love" driving anywhere anymore....being a trucker for over 40 years, taught me to STAY HOME during snow storms...cold temps, no issues, rain, no issues, fog....big issues, ice fog a HUGE issue.

hurricanes and tornadoes, yes i drove thru the areas and in fact i got caught up in a tornado back in the 1990's on I-70, in Kansas..yes, Dorothy's area.....and another tornado in Bloomer, WI when i had to make a delivery at the (maybe gone now) Big Red cannery for Green Giant canned vegetables...

a "simple' inch or 2 of snow the past few years since my retirement, makes me stay home, off the roads from the morons in thier shiny new SUVs with AWD or shiny new 4x4 pick ups, cuz they think "they are winter driving experts" now.

when in fact, having AWD or 4x4, actually gets one INTO trouble

nope, i "don't have to drive anywhere, anymore" these days,

as i'll let the idiots, morons, jackwagons, and know it alls, spin out, crash, flip over, and maybe die of thier "expert winter driving"

and for the record, i really don't like to be driving in temps below 35 degrees as well.....

damned cold walk to my car...!!!!!!!

I guess you could say that I love going to church in any weather. ;) Especially when I get to make a joyful noise. I was playing on the worship team this morning. I got to drive home in 8° weather.

I drove truck for a few years myself, mostly up and down the California coast. So there wasn't much real weather to deal with. But I don't blame you for wanting to stay home. What's the old joke? When I was young I would sneak away from home in order to go partying. Now that I'm old I sneak out of parties so I can go home. :ROFLMAO:

Now that I'm home I'm going to watch some playoff football.

Thank you for your indulgence,

church is ALWAYS a good thing.

i just don't go, but my 3 daughters WILL take my wife.

i pray to the "gun lords", the "reloading lords", and the "Devil Dog and hot tea lords"

yes, playoff game starts (here) at 3 PM, about 20 minutes from now....

It’s presently 0 degrees, and visibility is almost nil. They’ve closed I29 from Fargo to the Canadian border. The husband is out plowing through drifts on the streets. Can’t see the corner of the next street. The sun is making a feeble attempt to come out but all it’s doing is making it a tiny bit lighter out. Should be able to see a tree line but it’s gone.

We have a lot of Texans that come up to our mountains here and when it snows they keep the road and emergency crews busy. When it snows down here it's best to stay at home as there is no snowplow equipment for city streets. State roads do get plowed if need be but they do a lot of damage by breaking up the ceramic markers in the road.

Looks ugly on radar -- buckle-up.

Looking at M&P 2.0 9mm Compact Carry. I didn't win anything yesterday at the casino so, I guess i'll just keep looking at it for a while.
I have one...I think you'd like it. I carried that little devil down to FL a couple years ago to my niece's wedding. Then into Tennessee and north from there. One of my favs 😊.
