Hi,
I got a last minute call for a performance with my duo partner. I got in a quick workout then loaded up my gear.
Yes! It was quite brisk as I left for my gig, about 12:30 this afternoon.
It was a bright day and the roads were pretty clear.
I had a brain fart and unloaded my gear across the street from where we were actually playing. I've played at both facilities. So I had to load my gear again and drive across the street. Not to worry. We made the 2pm downbeat with no problems.
Here's Debi, ready for the show. She plays guitar while I do the bassman duties.
On the way home I stopped to take a little stroll through the park by the river.
Yes, there's a river under that ice and snow. That's the bridge I just drove over to get to the park.
It really is a lovely park in the spring.
When I got home it was 4°. Mrs. BassCliff has just about finished supper. She's trying an experiment on me tonight. Wish me luck. I hope everyone enjoys their evening. Blessings to all.

What a beautiful area @BassCliff! It kind of reminds me of the park that runs along the Red River between Fargo ND and Moorhead MN. I cross country ski along the river on the Fargo side, where they groom the trails.

I am winding down for an early night. Back to work tomorrow and 3AM is really rude after four days off

Always nice to have a range handy. I scored when moving to Idaho. We have an outdoor rifle, shotgun and pistol range for civilians and the cops have their range alongside it. Stations with covered tables and benches and bathroom. Best part...all free to anyone who wants to shoot, and it's never crowded.
