Starting the day. Had the first cup. Maggies food is ready. Boy is it cold here. We usually only get a couple of days but this year we have had a few. No rain or snow but just cold weather. Thats ok, in a few weeks it will be warm once again.

we got the makings for the "Siberian Express" ramping up last night and will continue thru the weekend.

It is 25 outside and Maggie just loves to be outside. I'm glad she enjoys it, I don't. Will go for a walk shortly.

wind chill now, temps down to 14....by the weekend, with this Siberian Express, single digits, and i don't know how much colder with the wind chills.

Just seen the weather and they "say" we will have snow this Friday and Saturday. Maggie will be so excited! It will be hard to get the old gal in if it does snow.

Just sitting around, killing time. The wife is doing a half day at work to come home, pick me up, and force me to go to the doctor. I haven't been just a little under the weather; I've been a lot under the weather. The wife thinks I may have pneumonia. I took one of those home covid tests a few days ago, but it was negative. She has put her foot down this time...I will be going to the doctor!

Just finished 3 pieces toast smothered in Stouffer's SOS and a cup of apple juice -- after my pot of coffee. It's 30° with expected high of 44° and sunny/clear. Think I'll do a load of darks.

i had "walking pneumonia" back in my garage days..didn't even know i had it...

went to the doctor, he sent me for xrays.

i had to go back for the results.

its a less serious form, so treatable in short time.

but it can develope worse.

Publix had it BOGO 3/$10 but have changed their price to $3.33 -- makes old folks wonder about marketing.

I have a Chickadee that sits on the deck railing staring at me through the window every morning at about 0400. Not sure what he wants. Just curious? Sizing me up? Wants me to get out of my recliner and fill the bird feeder?
