well, we got hit with about 19" of snow in my area....


gonna have to wait for my sons.......they called and said they should be here by or about 9 or so

but i will still go out and fire up the old snowblower, and **** off some neighbors.......

Very cold here this morning and looks like we are at the ocean with all the fog! We got just about 4 inches yesterday but roads were warm enough that it isn't that bad. School is closed for today and Holloman AFB is on 2 hour delay. The husky is in her glory and just loves being outside. I make her come in after a while as she is getting older and she does have arthritis. I don't mind the cold but I sure do like the warmer weather. Wow, she's scratching at the door to come in so it must be cold!

Just finished two sausage & cheese mcmuffins, a nanner, cup of cranberry juice -- after my pot of coffee.

Critters fed and back to the heated comfort of my recliner. My old Lab and I were a little stiff this morning but happy we made it through another night.

-5, My Boxer looked and started to turn around looking at the snow and told her "no, now go run and potty" reluctantly, putting her head down, she went out and did her business. Just watching the spin on the ICE shooting.

It was 24 degrees here this morning but now has crept up to 28. I broke up the thin layer of ice over the dog's water trough before I let them out. They love this weather. They will stay outside all day until we bring them in this evening. This weather is nothing to them. Went and double checked all the freeze prep work on the water well and all is good. It will be a boring day.

It is too cold for me outdoors. I'll have to bring in more firewood. A good day to sit in the strong room and fondle guns. Then maybe watch an old movie and a nap. Retirement is exhausting.
