Comfort food tonight. Fried hamburger and onions with more onion powder and Garlic powder. Half way through cooking threw in some dark red kidney beans . Drained the mixture and here I am chowing down.

That's always a winner. And there's something about the fair and the fair burger. I follow that smell to the stand like a bloodhound. Every time.

Good morning. The HVAC guy is here tuning up the furnace. I think that's all the excitement we have planned today. I did load of laundry last night. Maybe I'll vacuum today. We did not get enough snow to shovel the driveway. Can you say "bored"? Maybe I'll put some optics on a couple of long guns. Maybe I'll take a nap.

All the critters fed and ice broken in horse waterers. Looks like another day riding the recliner and channel surfing. I am so sick of what I am seeing on the news. I watched the 1964 pilot of Star Trek with Jeffrey Hunter as Capt Pike yesterday while tending the smoker. Seems like yesterday. Where did that 62 years go?

Just finished up a 3 mile walk with Maggie. The weather is beautiful and the both of us enjoyed it. I like days like this and spending time with my buddy.

My Grandma started walking 5 miles a day when she was 69 years old.

She's 92 now, and we have no idea where she is.




Sorry, sometimes I just can't help myself.

My gig tomorrow got canceled. Maybe I'll go to the range.

Made it to blistering 41 degrees here today. Headed back to a 27 degrees before sunrise. Not as bad as some are going through. Stay warm.
