Just chillin in front of the fireplace with a beer. Went out for dinner with my stepdaughter and the granddaughters. There was a patch of glare ice in front of the door...my feet went right out from under me and I landed on my left side . Well, I sorta bounced. My parka absorbed some of the impact. My knee is a little sore, and I imagine I will hurt in the morning. Icing the knee right now.

My day was good though. I got the certificate for my gun in the mail, so I headed there first to get the paperwork done and then I could get my errands done while waiting for the transfer. I was in there for about an hour all told cuz I still had to jump thru all the flaming hoops. They only use FFL for handguns, so I was able to walk out of the store with my prize . I picked up some ammo while I was there also because it was on sale for 11.99 a box (Blazer Brass 124gr). We have lots of shotgun ammo in the safe already.
I had to finish my errands while I was in that end of town, so I decided I'll hit the range tomorrow instead (unless I can't move for some weird reason ).

Well, I don't think I flailed at all. I bounced on my left side. I'm not seeing any bruising this morning, but my left shoulder/arm and my neck aren't my friends today. I think I broke my fall with my arm to save my hip. Anyway, I feel like I was hit by one of those west bound semis on I94. I'm gonna try my pistols, but I don't think I'll mess with a long gun today. By now the rifle range will be at capacity anyway .
