We're just old retirees pushing our carts slowly through the aisles, getting in the way of the AD folks. I especially like going the wrong way. But you can't beat the prices!

As a lil kid, me Mum would go to the commissary every thursday morning.
No crowds and shelves full.

Wish I had one closer than 1½ hours away -- I miss the "foreign" food selection. Kind of miss the BX as well.

I really liked the olive bar at the commissary but they shut them down during COVID and never re-opened. We have 3 bases within an hour, one is just 5 minutes, so Mrs Greener goes often.

I wish there was a BX and commissary here. There's a tiny store in Grand Forks that passes for one, but I think (if I'm not mistaken) the closest one to me is in Minot.

Y'all know you can order a surprising assortment of things online from the Exchange. I ordered a Holosun 507C from the Exchange on line and saved about $100, no tax, no shipping

35 degrees yesterday. Trying out the red dot. Forgot the ammo, doh.

Fortunately had 4-25 rd x 2 mags to zero and have a little fun. BTW, after 500+ rds., the new p226 xcarry legions are finally functioning wo FTF and eject problems. Very nice shooters now. Pretty lame to have to waste ammo like that on $1500 pistols. Shud shoot right out of the box IMJ. My SA HP and her P320 compact are starting to gather dust.
Adjusted the red dot further back for more fun on a cloudy day today.

BX is not what it was years ago. Never anybody in there shopping including workers! Maybe online is better.

doing the laundry, got the sheets in the washer now and in about 2 minutes, into the drier.

i had already pushed away about 1" of snow/sleet toi the sides...

we are going to get slammed with a BLIZZARD.......starting early sunday well into monday......

i think one or both of my boys will be sleeping over.........
