What are you doing right now??

Finally got warm enough to wash the car. Will do the other one tomorrow. Maggie and I went for our walk and she had her afternoon snack. Now she is watching tv on the couch. Will be having dinner soon and thinking how excited I used to get when a big snow storm was hitting the Boston area. Looked forward to having a few days off from school! Earning some money shoveling driveways for old people. It was great to be young! Might even go to the range tomorrow.

Neighbor just brought supper over --

Just saw the husband off. It has been hovering just above zero all day and the wind has been 20 out of the north. I’ve been watching ground blizzards form and dissipate all day. And now my ride has developed a sensor problem so the husband took the big diesel up north and left me the little one until I can get mine to the shop. It’s too cold out to be dinking around with a sensor problem that might just try and leave me stranded on the interstate.

So now I’m winding down and preparing for bedtime. 3AM is especially obnoxious on a Monday morning. 😎

I ain't lookin foward to tomorrow, gotta attend a funeral for a guy i worked with 35 years and hunted with about the same. we graduated high school together. also got another call tonight that a friend of mine that i shoot guns with a lot passed. he was in his late 50's. Makes you think about life as a whole.
Sorry Belt Fed. Unfortunately I've out lived all of my friends but one who's fighting prostate cancer. Try not to think how much longer I'll be around.

yes, yes it does make one think......i have lost many friends and i always wonder why i am still alive, with my high blood pressure, and diabetes, and god only knows what else i am living with.

but if there is a major plan for some of us to live-on, then that's what we got to do.

sorry for your recent losses.

i got up about 5:30, and took this pic from my bedroom bay window...

can't see much, but the snow is moving sideways with the wind...if you can manage to see down to the sidewalk, you can see the path that was shoveled the last storm, as this "new snow", has not reached the shoveled height yet, thanks in part, to the winds keeping the snowfall away.

but other parts of my yard are whacked with drifts.

more pics when it gets lighter out...

i put on my rain cover pants, my son just shook his head, and waved his finger at me.....that was to tell me...NO....!!!!!!

lol.......its a parents right to aggravate thier kids........lol....lol...lol
