What are you doing right now??

Yeah it does suck. Don't anticipate a long recovery probably will be awhile before I get back on the range. Thanks Papa.
I tried a little off-the-cuff training with my son. When he was about halfway through a magazine, I told him, "You just took three bullets in your right arm (he's right-handed) what you gonna do now." He transitioned quickly and made it work. My suggestion? Use a different finger.

Finished my errands, went to water store and refilled bottles, went to water softener store and picked up salt for the next month. Also went to range, another 100 rounds thru the Walther. Actually shot it better this time. Hand was feeling good today. I just have to admit I will not be a bullseye shooter every time I go. Weather is nice so the Buick will get cleaned along with the Walther. Another walk with Maggie is also on the list.

took my son (and me) 2 hours to shovel a tiny path, from the street curb, to the back stairs.....this does not include the 1 hour to shovel out from the 1st, floor front porch, to get out of the house....!!!

you can see the 1st floor front porch door to the upper left..

i am standing on the sidewalk with 3.5 feet of snow we still have to cut into to that pole, then the city dead-end (or Court) as it is named) that like 14 cars need to use to get into the various backyards.

also very hard to see, but to the left, is a black iron fence...3.5 feet tall.. you might be able to see some of the "iron pickets" just above the snow line...

the other direction looking towards the main street, where you cannot see this, but fire crews had an emergency to get to, and no, they could not use my street, a more direct route, due to the unplowed street....same here, that continuation of that 3.5 tall iron fence......(wrought iron) that is.....towards the end of my property line.

the city actually stopped plowing cuz the winds were so fierce, the guys could not see where they were going.

and one more thing, i kid you now, 1 lone fireman, walked up my unplowed street to the fire station.....

just like the blizzard of 1978, when the entire station had to carry ladders and hoses to the street around the corner, (where you can see the double stop signs in one of my pics) for an abandoned house fire, thanks to a now gone..fire bug.....

we are done for the night...tomorrow is yet another day

we still have to get thru 4 foot drifts to get the cars of, and even my snow blower stuck in the "shed"..

that fence in the back is 4 feet tall, and the drift went well over it..and you can now "see" the dead-end (court) that all cars must use to get into our backyards......hopefully it gets plowed out

my summer garde, those bushes in the front, are 5 feet tall

and believe it or not, there are 2 cars in this pic, the snow drift completely covers the one close to the house

and the "shed" where my snow blower is kept, is to the left in this pic, just past my house, and the 10 feet wide drifted 5 feet tall of snow... we may never actually reach it until maybe wednesday, and that ain't no joke...

i don't want my son to get a heart attack
