Well, I was up at 2AM and I hurt so bad that I called in to work right then...and proceeded to go back to sleep until after 9. Since then my phone has been blowing up with back and forth texts (my sister included me in a chat between herself, her daughter who is a med tech, and my brother, so I get everything everyone says...I hate that. Anyway, then my OTHER sister texted me wanting me to call her because she got half the story from my brother. I should have gone to work.

Things are under control as much as they can be, and I'm just sitting here finally being able to weed thru emails and catch up here. It's supposed to warm up after tonight. I hope so, because I am convinced that a lot of my pain is enhanced by the hovering around zero temps and the pressure fluctuations. Florida is looking better all the time...maybe Texas though, as Florida is extremely peopley.

Gonna finish my tea and maybe slay a few monsters before thinking about supper. 😎

Hi,

I just got back from a quick range trip, nothing spectacular. I was practicing target transitions and single hand shooting. I need more practice with both. ;)

I hope all of you in the cold and the snow are doing better soon. Here the sun was out and it got up to almost 30°. That's cargo shorts weather for some folks.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

My 3rd oldest son and I have been installing headers on this p/u along with new sparkplugs, sparkplug wires with new bolts. This vehicle is affectionately named "wreck-it-ralph"

After my son and I left the adult amusement park, Chinese buffet. Buffet was great, the park not so much. Bought the pistol 21 Feb, registered it 23 Feb, cleaned, inspected, lubed and preloaded both 18rd magazines. Today, the first mag went great. The second mag did as well. All were head shots, both single handed and both hands. Reloaded the magazines. The first 16 rounds went where I was aiming. Number 17 fired but slide only went back far enough to see the case. Removed the magazine and played with it some. Flagged the RO and he took it to the gunsmith on duty. Shortly after, he returned and said, "warranty -- send it back". Seems the rifling vanished and #17 blew the barrel (ballooned it).

Disgusted, shot my J Frame and we sent to lunch. Will do the Walther website warranty claim tomorrow.

Wow! I am sorry to hear that. I hope Walther makes it right and you can enjoy that pistol once it's returned.. Such a bummer when something like that happens, but I guess it does once in a while to every manufacturer. :(

Wow mine has been fine for the first 400 rounds. I'm sure Walther will take care of the issue. It is a bummer especially the first time out

geez...the factory may want the ammo as well.......if you at least have the ammo box, with any serial numbers, that will be of some help.

Can't find a lot number anywhere on the box. Purchased at Academy Sports 10/25 -- 500 loose rounds in a box. Only have about 200 rounds left. No problems with Girsan MC1911, HK CC9, Sig P365, and until this 'cluster' no problems at all. I'll do the website dance this morning.
