Got past the stall, wrapped it and put back on the smoker. Just waiting for it to hit target of 200° internal
If you weren't so full of it , you wouldn't need a bigger bucket.
I went to my dealer a couple days ago and was told a spark plug change was going to cost $400! Apparently they have to perform major surgery to get at two of the plugs…what great engineering!Sitting at the dealership. Just brought my ride in for a check. The engine cooling fan was coming on every time I drove it last week so the husband made an appointment for it and told me to drive his diesel (which I’m now in love with). It was also messing with the steering assist sensor apparently. They just told me that they have to lift the engine to replace it and the job will be about 6 hours and well over $1K. Thankfully it’s still covered by my extended warranty

So…now I’m just killing a little time before I text my friend. She and I were going to meet for lunch, but she offered to come pick me up if the job was going to take a while. I guess I’ll be hanging out in Fargo for the foreseeable future.

in my earlier years, i worked on all of 2 of them summanabeehes......... later on, told both customers to go someplace else, i was not a foreign car mechanic......
i was not aware Subaru had an engine with that issue...

The brisket is off the smoker and resting. The sweet potatoes are on the smoker and sausages go on in 20 minutes. Mrs Greener is rattling pans and dishes and chopping and stirring things in the kitchen for sides. The wolves will be here within the hour. Watching Donovan's Reef while waiting.

Actually it's a GMC Acadia, built in Tennessee. They ended up having to replace the thermostat...THAT was the thing under the engine. What a stupid place for a thermostat, I agree. Apparently the steering sensor is affected by the same code as the thermostat. Computer crap in cars...
