I made a few mistakes in my process but was able to recover pretty well but that's why it was a practice piece that I'm having nitride finish done on.
I've been on a nitride finish kick as of late really like it a lot.
I am having one slide blued at the moment will send pics hopefully by next week.
Speaking of finishes I'm planning on doing some old school charcoal bluing soon !!

It's really nerve racking to be honest and tough on my hands especially the one I just had surgery on it's so easy to jump the lines and screw it up just need patience which I'm getting better at finally after all these years !! Lol

I got my first stitches playing hockey on a frozen pond. I slid on the ice and my knee found exposed rock sticking up thru the ice and opened me up. I remember my mom almost passed out when i came home with blood pouring out of my pant leg onto her kitchen floor.

my laundry.......

i am having a really BAD start to my day..

when i went to grab my now full coffee mug, some how, i managed to spill it on the table, and of course a lot ran onto the floor, but first, it made a pit stop, on my right leg....ouch, that sh!t is hot.....

so, a quick run to the bathroom to remove the hot coffee soaked pants.

then clean up the mess on the table, and floor...as i was cleaning up, i munched on my waffle.....can't skip breakfast

put clean pants on, and finished my breakfast.....minus 1.5 cups of coffee...

now, my pants are in the washing machine, along with other items.


my wife is gonna thank me for doing the laundry............not knowing why.


and i got a doctor's appointment for 9 am this morning.......and i gotta leave the house at about 8:15, to deal with the F%@*ing rush hour traffic, low on caffeine.....

i hate this insipid GOD D@mmed clock change.....

Just finishing my checkering front strap.
Might do a little more clean up but I'm happy with it.
Now polish entire frame and get it ready for nitride.

As far as process it's just using a guide on one side to get first lines straight once you establish those it's just moving the file over one or two lines and keep going to all lines are done.
Here are a few pics during and shows a few stages of the steps.
I'll send pics tomorrow of the files I'm in the house for the night.
