What are you doing right now??

The aviation industry, both military and civilian are very stringent about rules and procedures. And that is a very good thing. We are talking about people's lives. Think of a civilian airliner filled with 100's of passengers crashing because a misplaced socket was sucked into the engine and it had a catastrophic failure. Things like that have happened. Accountability is a must, and it is a good thing it is demanded in the industry.
i 1000% agree with you.

i just did not agree with the race team/trucking owner.

each mechanic footed his own tools payments.

why should i have been responsible for a mechanic losing his privately owned tools...??

a loose tool on the race track can be extremely dangerous as well........or left at the last pit row garage.

well, sorta, kinda a lazy day today..

it rained last night, so i cannot sweep or use the leaf blower to clean the yard.

i cannot do any minor cement repair jobs. mostly using "liquid repair"...

so i put away the rocksalt, and ice chopping tool.

the i changed out the battery in 1 clock in the basement at my reloading bench.

then i drained out some water in both heating boilers, and refilled.

i am pooped out, might have to take a nap soon.

there are concrete repairs to be needed, with real cement, but, i need the weather to be warm for many days.

Hi,

Up having my usual cup of coffee. Husky food ready for her. Wanted to go shooting but leg will not cooperate today. Will try to go for a short walk and just hang around inside today. It will be another hot one.

Sorry you've got a bad wheel today. I hope it gets better so's you can get out on the range. Pet Maggie for me.

I slept really late today and need to finish the vacuuming before Mrs. BassCliff gets home this afternoon. The temperature will make it up to 70° today, then a high of 43° tomorrow. At least it's not freezing and most of the snow has melted. That's life in the Wild Wild Upper Midwest. 😜

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Hi,

I'm getting ready to go to a funeral. A young man who passed at an early age of 60. This is a tough one for me. I dated his sister years ago and again for the last 5 years. Went to school with his sister and 2 brothers. So I know the family well.

Well gotta get moving.

Peace and comfort to you, family and friends. I also got news that one of my musician buddies, worked with Dave off and on for decades, passed earlier this week. His wife has family in Janesville so they were able to visit us a couple of times since we retired to Wisconsin. He was my age. It makes you think. Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Just changed oil and filter in two riding lawn mowers sitting down cooling off right now guy at the gun shop sent me a video of him shooting my gun with a hundred round drum with an FR t in it I took two to him a couple of days ago he's working on the other one now I will post videos if he don't mind me putting him on the air

The husband and I are currently in Fargo having brunch. We have to get his glasses adjusted and I want to price a new pair for myself.

It’s supposed to be in the 60s today, not as warm as where @BassCliff lives but I’ll take it. Then it’s back down to a high of 37 tomorrow, so we don’t want to dawdle too long in town. Lots of outdoor stuff to do.
