Mrs. BassCliff makes a mean dish of shrimp and grits. She just got home from her Mom's and I told her I'd take her out tonight so she doesn't have to cook after her long drive. As I helped her unload the car I said "goodbye" to winter.

B H & S would be my choice. Some good nice deli hot dogs that snap with quality casings with true sauerkraut.
I’d be able to lift myself off the chair after and momma would make me sleep in another room. 💨💨💨💨💨💨

case in point

a local trucking company here, now long gone, had a racing team.

frankly i don't know how good they were.

i had applied thru the help wanted ads in the news paper...

anyone remember those days, before cell phones, snd internet....???

anyway, i applied...then i get called in for the interview.

the owner of the trucking company and the racing manager laid down the law on my responsibilities.

once everything is loaded into the trailer and the trailer was locked AND sealed, it was ALL on me, if anything was missing, once the seal was broken, and unlocked at either the track or back home..

SOOOooooo....if some SH!T HEAD helper, apprentice or mechanic LOST or misplaced ANYTHING, before it was all locked up and sealed......

it was ON ME.........

i said right there and then to both guys...


"BULLSH!T, I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SOME A-HOLES STUPIDITY"

and with that, i walked out.

Many years ago, I had a job where I had 3 bosses who I was directly assigned to and to follow there instructions on work assignments they needed to be done.

It was a disaster as I tried to follow, "first come first served" however, all three would come to me and tell me in a very stern voice, "forget what you are doing for them as I want my work done first".

I was always upsetting them and all 3 actually complained to the big boss, I was not doing my job.
I had a excellent reputation for my knowledge and work skills and that is why I was assigned to the 3 of them.
Fortunately, the big boss realized, that all 3 of them were all selfish and greedy and extremely demanding.

In the end of this experiment of trying to make the workplace more efficient and I was then back to only answer to the big boss and received my all my work assignments from the big boss.

Funny, after the change back, all 3 of them, totally ignored me in every way, which was fine by me.
