I have eaten waaaay too much beef jerky, and I am drinking way too much IPA. So much for a fire outside as the temp has dropped from the mid 60s to the mid 30s with a 20mph wind out of the north 
. The husband, our friend across the road, and I have worked on solving the world's problems over garage beers. Our trees are thriving and have grown a good eight inches on average this past few months. This day has been a win though. All is well with the family for the time being. We are watching some weird 
on FOX right now, but I don't really care cuz I don't care if I ever watch TV again, but hey...that's where I'm at right now. A fire would have been really nice though..

Just got home from the concert turned out ok after about an hour or so cooled down to a blistery 84 and Keith was pretty good !!

Great smoking wood !! In small doses for the smoker. It call give a bitter taste if use to much to long. Save yourself some. For the firepit outside as well if you have one .

Went for a walk with the husky then took her to Lowes. She got me a paint brush. Came home and vac'ed out the car. Cut the grass and stock blade not doing too well. Had to change to the Oregon Gator mulching blade. That thing chops up everything. With it so hot here it helps hold moisture in the lawn. Now i'm going to sit down and relax--my leg is saying enough.

Yep, a coupla years ago I harvested, dressed out a pig, readied the smoker and smoked it with some cherry got from the back yard. It was the best ham and bacon I have ever eaten.
