Buying my first used car on line. Found it on car guru, went to dealer's site Friday night, emailed on Saturday, talked to them, researched the h3ll out of them, got more pics from the dealer and agreed to buy it. Found a shipper on line and set up shipping, then Monday set up a wire transfer with my bank. This morning signed the contract and sent it back, money goes out by 3:00 p.m. today, DONE! Well, it was several calls, blowing up lots of pictures, getting the Carfax report (pretty good history) so for buying blind I think I know what I got. Not big bucks, it has 125928 on it, 5.7 Hemi, 2010 Jeep Commander Limited, I always did like these old Jeeps, wood grain dash, leather, remote video, dual HVAC, heated/cooled leather seat front and back, 3rd row seats I doubt were ever used. Anyway, should be a good fit in the garage with my '22 F 150 and the '24 Cherokee Trail Hawk.

Got the husky walks in. Started to paint house this morning but as sun came up it was impossible to see what I was doing--too bright. Will have to start at first light tomorrow and hopefully get it done before sun beats down on that side. Once that side is done the rest of the house is a breeze. Got doctors appointment in an hour, oh joy!

I got to my gig early. I thought I'd drop in and see if I could cause some trouble. ;)

I got some parts in yesterday. Maybe this afternoon I'll do a little fiddling on my AR. I have a couple of levers I should clean too, since I have bore snakes now. The fun never ends.

Hey! That's nice!

My last purchase in 2019 was found online using Carfax. It's a good service. But I drove to the dealership to pick up my 2017 Ram truck w/33k miles.

Went to doctor appointment. After they checked me out they told me my procedure was cancelled for Monday. I went off!! Told them I would be calling my insurance companies to not pay this bill because they did nothing. Then my rain of terror ended up in the administrators office They wanted to blow me off until I asked in a loud voice who in the hell is running this F'ing place. That got there attention. The hospital here is terrible. Some catholic organization called Christus. Now I got nothing against catholics--i'm one of them but even their administrators don't even know what's goin on. Let's just say I wasn't a good catholic boy. I have had 3 phone calls since I drove away. Now, my new date is 20 April at 6am.

cristus acquired our old catholic hospital (trinity mother francis) never seen a nun there either :unsure:
then some CA place bought ETMC and made it united health... they both SUCK in the BILLING department
but my surgeons are awesome

We have the same Christus hospital system here. When I was in the hospital for my pulmonary embolism, a Catholic Nun/nurse from India tripped over my IV line, ripping the whole thing out of my arm. I was not a happy camper over that!
