What are you doing right now??

Thursday track meet which is S-T-U-P-I-D! Only 1 track events in the morning (3200m run) of which I was late getting there:(. I did however find out my kid almost lapped someone. His time was either 15 or 20 seconds slower than his best which would have made it possible. Oh well, next both (twins for those that don't know) will do the 800m run. The younger will do the 1600m run and the older of the 2 will do the 4x400m relay. Both are the final 2 events. My oldest did the 1600m run and the 4x400m relay so he didn't get much rest. He was dubbed or nicknamed "ironman". Even with little rest he usually had the 2nd fastest time on the team. 10 years later he has slowed down and added 30#.

and told him i have had enough with this POS NEW washing machine, and it'll get the same pattern as on the target.


he asked the size of the bullets...told him 45, and that 2 boxes of ammo, weigh more than the gun...

then i did a "show and tell", having him hold a box of 9mm, then just 1 box of 45's...

he could not believe how heavy the box was......

that may also be why he said he will "push the company for the exchange"

an update to this monster of a machine from Whirlpool..

a replacement machine has been authorized, i got that call about 10 minutes ago..

the sales dept will call me in the morning, (3/27) to go over the details, and i was told if there is a pricing difference, i will have to pay...which that befuddles me.

why should i have to pay any difference for the same model..????

i will have to question that a bit more when they call back.


i did buy the machine when it was on sale, so that might be their reasoning..??

but no other charges i was told.....again, if i have to pay any difference.

anyway, we have "some laundry" still to do, i told the wife, "let's destroy that SOB, for all the aggravation, it has caused us since the 1st breakdown back in mid-november"

she's going to make smores brownies and imma gonna set out the lawn chairs in the laundry room, and watch that baby self destruct.


i just checked my sales receipt, we paid....$559.99

the current price is....$559.00

i think they owe me....99¢........??????

I can't say I miss that weather. It's 46° and raining now. I'm going over some tunes for worship team rehearsal this evening. I played a gig earlier this afternoon. They had the Brewers' opening game on the TV. I told our audience it's OK to clap and cheer when the Brewers hit a home run. We'll just pretend it's for us. ;)

Just finished off a 1/2 of a Costco broasted chicken for dinner, and winding down from a busy day in town.

Picked up my main road bike from the Shop for it'd spring tune-up, a couple boxes of 10mm at a LGS, got a couple books, and supplies at several other places.
