Posse coming out to my range to shoot pistol, then lunch at a a Jack's that just opened. I am changing up the course of fire to make things more interesting. I need to stop at the glass company to order glass for the sword display case I am building. More later.

well, another update to this saga..
the store called and said that there will be NO extra charges for the exchange...that's good.
but the machine i have now, and the same one to replace it, took about 2 weeks to get as it was a special order...
however
they have in stock right now the twin model, same everything but with only 1 exception..
it has a glass lid, with a "soft lowering lid and it is about $35 extra,......
but, they will exchange that for the same costs i had already paid......so still NO money on my part
so hopefully we get this on April 2nd.......as that is the date he said it can be delivered.
ok, done deal...and i will totally F up this dud i have now, this weekend.....
i just promise not to shoot it...........well.............there ain't no tree behind it, is all i can say.
whatever else i do to it.............

Been up since 7...well, really since 3AM. Woke up with a splitting headache, got up and took some stuff, slept till 7, woke up with the same headache with the addition of hip and shoulder pain 
. The monkeys on my back were having a party so I got up. Feeling better now with the pain out in the background. Our new gun safe is coming this morning, and the husband is home to orchestrate that so I am still here

We're heading up to Grand Rapids (the MN one, of course) to meet up with my sister-in law and her husband, whom we haven't seen in way too long. It will be good to get out for a short road trip and be amongst some family. I guess the range can wait for another week...I suppose.

Fish ducks in my pond again this morning. 
Told Roxy to "Go get the ducks!" She hauls tail over the creek bridge to the pond. She doesn't like to swim yet, but running circles around the pond finally made them fly off. About ten minutes later, Roxy is back home outside our window, staring at me inside and panting, with the "I got 'em, dad!" look on her face.
