What are you doing right now??

Got up an hour later today. The husky wanted to go out. Finally got her fed and situated. Had my cup of coffee with a light breakfast. I was thinking of starting to paint back side of house but they say cloudy today. Around here clouds mean rain most of the time. Might just have to wait to paint.

Just got done watching Marshals after a half hour delay to dam basketball, they need to ban that game from tv….. waste of precious tv time……😬
its very irritating here as well...the wife has many favorite tv shows, and when March madness is on, she goes into kill mode.

yeah.....she could kill with her side-eye stares...

there are so many sports channels, some subscription, many others free...whey do "they" feel the need to air the games on a network like ABC, CBS, or NBC....

we have showtime/paramount but we do not pay for it, and we have to wait over a year to see any of the shows some can just stream......

Good morning all!

Still modifying work rolls.

I'm sure you will be ok, especially when they raise your rate.
Nope, they wanted a 200 dollar late fee. i have been with progressive 26 years and not once have i been late and always pay in full. the agent which is an independent agent i'm with now called them and explained the deal. they didn't care. so i switched to something else. they lost a long time customer. i have two truck and a car with them, two motorcycles and a boat with them. or lets say i had. they showed me loyally means nothing to them.

Just as well. That company is called "Progressive" for a reason. I have not bought their product for decades, although their commercials are funny.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Feeling really sad right now.....my wife as well.

one of our family members is moving away, to another state, and we will miss her dearly....I am not doing well right now, fighting back the tears of both being happy for her and feeling like my heart is being ripped out...my wife is in the other room, she can't talk, or function right now.

Our family member does not want a send off, or anyone to take her to the airport, she wants to avoid that whole scene.

we CAN understand that, we really can, but it still is ripping us apart, to not see her off..

I do recall when another family member left us, decades ago, and i was younger of course, and watching that person walk down the concourse to the airplane was tough on all of us then.........you really want to be there, then you don't, for what seems like a farewell that you will never, ever see that person again..and back then, it was indeed the FINAL time we would see or ever hear from that person again.

That person died, years after that, and we never knew, until finally word got to us, she had died.

life many times is fine, good, and great.

Then there are times it sucks, and you just want to die from the pain you are feeling.

of course, she has been asked to keep in touch, and hopefully all will be well, and her life will go on, with her happiness to her new life, in a new state.......we all know, no one is too far away that emails, texts and maybe phone calls can connect us with quickness and efficiency, at the snap of a finger...but it will be the empty seat at the dinner table on holidays, or those monthly visits that we will miss the most.

Christ, this F-ing hurts.

Somebody had better shoot a tree, or step on his cat's tail, or pour a drink

I am dying inside for my wife and me.

We WILL feel better, I know this, I just cannot take my wife's and my sadness right now.

I figured that. They are all terrible. Hopefully you got a better company now.

I can feel the pain and the loss in your words. Sure, you can keep in touch many ways, but it's not the same as sharing a meal at the table or visiting on the front porch.

Due to unforseen or tragic dynamics, many of my family are far away and uncommunicative. I try my best to be thankful for the good times we've had together. I pray for them constantly and hope for the best. May you continue to be blessed with strength and understanding, have peace and comfort in the sorrow. All the best to you and the missus.

Hi,

Mrs. BassCliff and I have a visitor this week. Our kids and grandkids are vacationing in Florida so we get to take care of the grandpuppy. This is Nellie.

View attachment 107402

She's a good dog and has a lot of spirit. I hope she doesn't wear us out.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
Nellie likes pets and treats and laps, I can tell. Spoil her and send her home when they get back. And teach her a new trick while her people are gone.
