What are you doing right now??

Hi,

Yes, it's been a while since I've seen @Old_Me around these parts. I hope he checks in soon.

I just got back from a walk with Nellie. She is such a good boxer. I'll be sad to have to let her go home when the kids get back from Florida.

I checked the mail after our walk and had received a reminder from the AZ DOJ. It's time to renew my non-resident concealed carry permit. That was nice of them. I'll fill out a form online, give them my cc number for $43 and be good for another six years. I can legally carry concealed in 35 states with my two permits. I'm going to look into other non-resident permits to see if they might let me carry in a few more states. It'll be my pet project.

Edit: Wow! I'm doing a little research and found out that CA and NY honor no other state's CCW permit. They have reciprocity with no one. There are probably a few other blue states that do the same. A few other states will honor permits from CA and NY but they do not return the favor. Sheesh.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Illinois doesn't honor any other state carry license either. However , you can carry in your vehicle only while passing through the state as long as you have a carry license from your state. If you stop to eat or to go potty you have to disarm.

So...the plow has been by, but you wouldn't know it. The wind has picked up from the north, some trees are down I am told. The husband just came back from plowing out the snow ridges in all the driveways, and it's still snowing, but sideways now. 😒

Just this one time I'll do this, because TX is all full up. You and the hubby are welcome to move down here. Just a couple of things, though. Don't bring down MN politics. And never, ever say "In MN we did it this way...". Finally, just deal with the heat and humidity. Or just stay up there in the Tundra. lol

Loaded 50 rounds of 40 S&w for the Springfield EMP, put the Bar-Sto barrel in the meusoc after fitting the hood to the slide and installed a snug Kart bushing the Bar-Sto was too loose in the slide still waiting for the punches to stamp parts, got my US Lok-Grips for the JSOC so much better grip than the originals.
Testing tomorrow will take target pics not going to set up the ransom rest this trip.
If anyone is wondering about the 63 it's the year I was born and the last two of the serial number so that was kool !
