Went to cut grass and noticed I had a few mushrooms growing. I then had to de-thatch 2 very thick areas of the yard then go over with lawnmower to pick up all the grass. Hope with more sun getting in will solve mushroom problem. Maggie supervised my work and told me it made her tired. She went in and took a nap.

talked with a pain mgt in fort worth and made an appt for the 20th of this month. 1 step closer to hopefully getting my neck fixed. i'll find out what $350 gets me! depending on answers to my questions i'll need a mri and maybe a ct? i can get both for $750 (together price, not individually).

Coffee and food on board, dogs fed, planning the day. Grandson has discovered shooting and fishing so he is fully engaged. Doing a pistol course for a novice niece this morning. Farrier coming to do to do horses hooves. Our student pilot tenant leaves today, and more friends coming in this afternoon so we are hot bunking the cabin. The Big Green Egg will stay hot for a week. I can't remember when I was last so busy and happily so.

Husky walks in. I did go to the range this morning. Weather was great and felt good to be out there. Took the Beretta APX and really decided I do not care for the gun. My FFL is going to a gun show this weekend so I will give it to him to sell. Got my Guns and Ammo magazine so will look at that and maybe do some reading. If I sell the APX maybe something else will interest me.
