Having the Ford Edge worked on this afternoon. Nothing big, just a spark plug change. I thought it was 100,000 miles, Ford says 40-60000 miles. Having independent garage do it. Ford house here doesn't have any qualified people to do the work-- I guess a sign of the times.

Just got back from the range. Stopped off at water store then went to Sherwin Williams to pick up some paint. It was 40% off today. Gun cleaned and ready to go the next time. Weather was beautiful.

it is 100k, unless your gettign codes of misfire etc
and yes its a biotch
new intake O RINGS and there is a parts kit to replace all the seals that must be opened to get the intake off to allow access to the firewall side plugs
if they cheat on the seals....you edge will run like crap....ask me

Owners manuel says 40-60K. Doesn't seem like it's a big deal. Plugs are easy to get to
