What are you doing right now??

Got the morning dog walks in. Then drove to the range and fired 200 rounds thru the new Walther PPS M2. No issues with it at all. Gun is very soft shooting and trigger is great. I will carry this for the warmer months. So far a great purchase.

I just got home from court. Had to get an order of protection against a former lady friend. We started seeing each other 5/14/25 and broke up on 10/25/25. No matter how many times I tell her I am done and don't want to see her anymore , she continues to text and send messages through the dating site we met on.

On 1/16 /26 I had to call the law on her because she tried to force her way into my apartment. She was gone before the police got here. I have told her 3 times in 2026 that I don't want her around me and to stop texting and bothering me. I even told her if she didn't stop I would get an order of protection against her . Her reply was " Oh hun , you don't have to do that. I love you to much to ever hurt you. "

She has even been in my parking lot twice since 1/16/26 , taking a picture of my vehicle and the one parked next to mine asking " is that the new bitches car ?" .

I got it for 1 year And she is in for a surprise. Here in Illinois if you have an order of protection entered against you , you lose your FOID card and have to surrender your firearm. Sometimes you can give the firearm to someone in the family or to a friend.

Hi,

I just got home from court. Had to get an order of protection against a former lady friend. We started seeing each other 5/14/25 and broke up on 10/25/25. There's a new service people our age are using to meet others.

The app is called "Carbon Dating".

But seriously, I hope she settles down. There was a time that I had a psyco chasing after me. She would leave lipstick all over my car windows in the parking lot at work, show up at my apartment at all hours, and just be plain weird. Then I found out she was married, with two kids. Yikes! So I threatened to tell her husband if she didn't leave me alone. Lord have mercy.

Hi,

waiting on my video doctor appointment
i have pants on this time :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I just got back from my checkup. The doctor and I were trading Dad Jokes!

He said they put a video poker machine the in the restroom. The last time he was in there he had a flush. :p

Doctor said I do not have arthritus in my knee. He diagosed it as 'early onset rigor mortis'.

Now I'm going to finish up my coffee and take myself to the range for a bit. I think I'll shoot .45s today. Then later I have a free course sponsored by the USCCA, "How To Identify A Public Threat". Hopefully I will learn something. Then I'll have a live fire training class next week on Monday, Advanced Defensive Pistol Skills clinic. I like that one, lots of scootin' and shootin'. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Just now got the wife settled into bed. She had reconstructive surgery on her foot/ankle early this morning. Two weeks of no weight bearing, then start graduated/25% weight bearing and physical therapy. I think I heard the doctor tell her no driving for one month (it is her right foot that was operated on). Today is my one year anniversary of my last day of work and the last time I wore pants. One year ago those stained, worn out work jeans went into the trash once I walked in the door! The wife is in a bit of pain right now. Even my hilarious "Dad" jokes are having no effect. I told her to get her lazy *** out of bed so we could go paint the town red for my anniversary. That joke fell as flat as a Jimmy Kimmel monolog. Oh well, happy one year of being pants free too me!
