What are you doing right now??

She should be home in less than half an hour. I was able to get up without getting dizzy to go to the back door to let the dogs back outside, but they won't go. I got myself some cold water and fruit to snack on, and I'm starting to feel more steady. This doesn't feel like something life threatening, like my pulmonary embolism was 6 months ago. This resembles exactly what I felt for a couple of years after my traumatic brain injury from the explosion I went through in 2006, as a commercial diver. I'm just more worried about falling down and injuring myself. And if I wind up on the ground, that is where I'll be staying until someone can help me back up!
I agree with the guys...get you to the ER. I know nothing about TBI, but I know about vertigo. But it sounds like you're okay when you're not standing, so...yeah. Get checked out for sure. I hope it's only a temporary thing. It sounds like you've had more than your fair share of stuff going on. I hope it is just a passing thing.

Since my wife can't drive anymore i have took two ambulance rides. of course it never hits at a reasonable time. always 1 or 2 in the morning. i had to be real nice on one ride. this couple that come got me were like unreal. the driver got lost taking me to the hospital. then this other one said are you hurting. oh boy i almost bit my lip off wanting to say, well yeah, i layin here writhing in pain and hollerin like a banshee. what gave it away. lol but no i was nice and said yes very much.

.75" isn't going to pass. If it moves and starts causing pain , I will be heading for the hospital . He told me because of the size of this stone he can't blast it with shockwave treatment. Said it could leave chunks to large to pass.
Wow! I thought I had issues. It hurts me just thinking about it. I hope you can take care of the issue as soon as possible. I have had them in the past and even the small ones are very painful.

Just finished breakfast. Peach wedges, 2 English muffins with blackberry jelly, cup of apple juice -- after my pot of coffee.

Well, everything turned out OK. As soon as my wife got home, we discussed my symptoms. She reminded me that every few years this has come up. It is one of the results of the explosion I went through in my commercial diving days. It hasn't happened in years, and I had forgotten about it. We all have these crystals in our inner ears and they can become dislodged and cause major vertigo problems. Initially, it can be caused by a severe trauma (like an explosion). Several months went by after the accident before I was able to see an ENT about my condition because I could barley walk. After a few physical therapy sessions, they tried some kind of maneuver to get the crystals back in place. They also said that it was likely to happen again over time. And it has. They had given instructions on doing a home remedy maneuver, in case it happened again. My wife helped me to do it, and it worked. I no longer have the severe vertigo. My wife has now placed me back under the rule of not going anywhere or doing anything without my phone on my person. Just in case I might be outside and fall down. Then I can call her or somebody for help. I hate carrying my phone everywhere! Anyway, thanks to all who were concerned about me. I am OK, and back to being my wonderful self that you all know and love!
