I'm also at the airport, DCA. Just had a burger and waiting on our flight. We have a long layover at LGA. I might have time for a nap. We've packed a lot into a few days. Time to go home and rest from our "vacation". We are blessed.

Recovering. I worked, and sometimes participated in, a charity match for ovarian cancer yesterday. That was one long day.
Sadly, few showed up. We had as many workers as participants. They got rewarded well, as I don’t think anyone went home without a lot more in prizes than they paid to enter. The sponsors were kind and generous.

then i was just looking up Desmond Doss, and he had more problems after the military than the ending of the movie said, about when he died.......not how.
he also had a son Desmond Jr, still living at 79 years of age.

Having my morning cup of coffee. Husky food has been put out for Maggie. They have a heat warning out for today, it will be like an oven out there. Except for a couple of short walks can't do anything outside. Hopefully all this extreme weather will end soon and we can get back to normal hot weather.

Got a check from bank of america the other day, not even in my name. says pay to the order and has the city i live in. i was going to take to bank and ask them but i looked it up and it's a scam. i'm tearin it up. i do have to go to revenue office this morning for a license renewal.
