What are you doing right now??

Lord,

We lift up Mr. rcurtner and his dear wife in our hearts and in our prayers. We ask Your grace to rain down upon them. See to all their needs. Touch them with Your healing hand. Grant them both healing in miraculous ways so that they may continue their union of love here on this earth. We know You are a God of miracles and have the best plans for Your children. We thank You for all Your blessings.

In Jesus' name,

Amen
I'm absolutely speechless. If you've ever paid attention to me, you know that is a near impossibility. I've prayed quietly for this friend of ours. Your sharing a prayer we all can pray for our friend is a beautiful illustration of God's love.

Well up with the birds having the first cup of coffee. I was awakened by muscle cramps in both legs today. Thank god for Theraworx! Husky food is ready for my girl. Today the store is open from 10-3 so it will be a short day. Looking forward to the day off tomorrow. These old bones can use the rest. Will be another hot one with a chance of thunderstorms. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

well, i got up late, very late for me, at 8:45 AM...!!

must be the damned heat/humidity, and the icy cold a/c in the bedroom.

anyway, just got the 1st load of laundry going, got 2 more loads...

already had my breakfast

and finished watering the garden.

it really is NOT as muggy this morning as the past 2 days, but it is still humid, and gonna get high(er) temps.

now, i am brewing up coffee, to make iced coffee for the wife and me..

we guzzle that up each summer...at a higher cost than if we brew up hot coffee daily.

Do you have Tricare for Life?
No do not. The VA for the most part has been good to me but I'm not too crazy about some of their doctors. The major back surgery I had took months to get approved. Have a very good Medicare supplement that totally pays for everything Medicare doesn't. Right now the only thing I use from VA is medications. Recently a new very large VA clinic was opened in Victoria, Tx. They have very few dr's, no pharmacy or x-ray dept's. Have to make appointments every six months to keep my benefits.

Been workin off and on straightening out and getting things organized in my AR parts boxes, i had hammers and triggers everywhere. so now i got stuff together and can find what i need. i started to take a pic but it's kinda embarrasin at all the parts collected from probably 50 years. now i know @TEXASforLIFE would probably say DUDE, that all you got? lol. i did find a few vintage parts that might be worth something.

It's like having 2 piles of laundry........1 clean and 1 dirty and can't tell them "a part". Stick with what you know and where it's at (insert neme 🤷‍♂️ )
