Normally my pups get fed outside. But in this heat, they won't eat. So I bring them inside during the hottest part of the day so they can cool off a little and eat. Even though they stay in the house at night, I don't feed them or water them in the evening, because I don't want to have to let them out during the night to do their business. 98% of the time, they make it through the night without having to be let out. And they let us know if they really need to go. In these pictures, I have Opie, my male, on a leash. I do that so he won't try to eat Aunt Bee's food also. All of this time I thought you lived in S Texas didn't realize you lived in Mayberry ;)
 
Just got home from grocery getting. What a nightmare! I have very particular tastes and interest in food and the cheese I like is usually found at hippieville. I forgot yesterday was the start of move in day at the University. I won't be making this mistake again!

Trying to get around the store with the mobility scooter is enough, but adding the fun of moving obstacles is so much fun! And finally, throw in a pack of giggling teen girls, and my fun meter got maxed out quickly!

The good news is nobody died, and I'm back in my recliner reading about the escapades of this wonderful group of derelicts! It's good to be home 😀

got news of my daughter's best friend's dad died. best guess he's in his early to mid 40's? could be 50, but i don't think so? he works a week then off a week and just got home last night. the youngest daughter (my daughter's best friend or should say 1 of them) found her dad unconscious in the recliner. she tried to resuscitate him, but couldn't in time. my daughter really wants to come home to aid support for her family, but just started college today and she's 500+ miles away. depending on when the funeral will be, she still might make it home? died of a heart attack is what i've heard and don't know if there's any family history of heart conditions or if he had any symptoms leading up to this?
 
got a doctors appointment for 10:30 AM...

so getting my stuff together while finishing up my 4th cup of iced coffee...

i even got up later than usual this morning....about 8 AM..... :eek:

just one of 'em days when waking up, was hard to do.......

imma tella youz guys........some day....some day, maybe sooner than i anticipate.....

i ain't gonna be wake'n up at all........

so this weekend, gonna be a FULL WASH OUT.....maybe i'll reload a bunch of 45 ACP first......

to be fully prepared, for when i don't wake up......
