finished my 4th cup of iced coffee....just now, the coffee machine finished brewing new batch...

gonna be a lousy day today, well into sunday...

so i just might go down to the basement, and clean out the Dillon powder hopper from the remnants of powder in it, and set up the 45 ACP tool head....

gonna start reloading the 45's soon....

gas here is over $4.00, and that's even the grocery store brand i buy.

even walmart is experiencing low sales as well, and frankly i went there last week and many prices on some items, cost AS MUCH AS the grocery store, which was a shock to me and the wife's system....!!!!!!!

the stop & shop store (you know the store) sells gasoline from the tank storage place i used to pick up at....it is the basic mix they pay for, not top tier, and not rock bottom.

once every 3,000 miles, i add a bottle of Lucas fuel injector cleaner, and have been using Lucas, or Chevron products for decades, with no issues, like clogged injectors, or gummed up carburetors.....remember those..???...lol

yeah, the toyota dealership tried to sell me on Fuel injector cleaning, then a brake system flush....on both cars.

the gasoline i use is clean, the cleaner helps maintain.

the brake system i know can absorb moisture, but the owners manual DOES NOT say to do regular flushes, only when brake work is done, where the system has to be opened up, like a caliper replacement.

ALL dealerships try to upsell the work, as they need to pay those high dollar parts replacers...NOT MECAHINCS mind you, they are nuffin but parts replacers and paid commission workers......just like...ahem...a sales person is...paid on commissions.

gone are the days when REAL mechanics like i was, actually took the time to do a REAL road test, and actually took out testing equipment to diagnose.....

all they do for the past decades, is plug-in, read the "possibilities" of what's wrong, and throw parts at it, in hopes they "fixed it"
