at least he didnt use the " i smell pot" rouse to get a search of the vehicle

i took moms flee market money to the other town to her long long time bank, we know most of the folks in there and thier parents and grand kids.
got stopped for my front tires just past the white line at the stop sign, by maybe inches i bet... he tagged me as i turned.

smart assss junior mint asked for dl and if i was carrying... after the moment of DUMB look, i said of course you know i am, its right there in the center console, he is my dl.

then he asked if any drugs in truck as he could smell fragrance... not pot.. i said thats LEATHER< its cow hide and it have leather scented tomy hilfiger as a kicker for the rear seat passenger...(bulldog)

he thought about it his next words.... then asked, if he could search my truck
i said nope. what is the probable cause , he said i was masking POT smell. i just laughed... a f250 riding dirty..

got a warning , and the you are free to go drive safe speech, and he followed me to the bank parking lot,
i think he was trying to figure out what his next move was. i chatted with my long time friends of the family and keep watching, he finally got bored or something and drove off.

i wonder what they teach young cops now days if the nose is calibrated like speed guns

mind you my truck is king ranch leather that is very aromatic as in saddle shop smell, plus the leather lexol conditioner and the hilfiger essential oils for the colonge it smells like a saddle shop with a nice spring rain :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Just finished filing this hammer for my manurhin revolver the Pic of the gold color hammer is original.
I had a machinist buddy of mine silver solder a chunk of steel on it and the finished hammer will be obvious it was a ton of filing and checkering !

The shack is a pig sty, the yard looks like hobos live here, laundry and dishes need to be done, AND I really need to grocery shop. The problem is I just do not feel like doing :poop: today. I don't know whether I should be depressed or crack a beer and enjoy the time I have today before I gotta work tomorrow. The frustrating part is I know I'd feel better if I just got off of my lazy rear and actually accomplished something productive.

I paced a state trooper on the highway doing 20 over. No lights, etc… 85 in a 65. I always run 15 over on open highway.. or more ..
anyway .. after about 5 min he slowed down and pulled me over.
I told him I was pacing traffic. Got a ticket and went to court with it… i wanted to take him to court. He can go fast just tooling around but we cant ? I’ve had a lot of similar track , DD, and race course experience
Sooo… i won in court. Dismissed. Officer A hole nowhere state trooper was not happy since he showed up to court.
I dont do well with do as I say not as I do.
 
I spent 25 years on the job, and I retired 20 years ago. This kind of stuff is extremely irritating to hear! I set my speed at 5 over the posted limits wherever I drive, and yes, that is speeding. But the contempt of cop retaliation is not the answer, but unprofessional and felonious behavior on the part of the cop. If you pace me, or even pass me, it was never a b excuse to cite someone.

I'm sorry I got wound up, but I have heard from many, cop behavior that makes me want to slap the taste outta their mouth.
 
Hi,

After playing in church Mrs. BassCliff whipped up some lunch and we watched a couple of football games while I cleaned four filthy 9mm pistols and one new 10mm.

I'm thinking I'll eventually get a threaded barrel for the 10mm, just for fun. ;) I'm hoping to take the new 10mm to the range on Tuesday. For now I'm watching a schmaltzy movie with the missus. Next we'll watch some sci-fi. :LOL: I am blessed.

Every profession has bad apples.
Even the ones we trust. drs, health care, first responders. Military. Life is full of folks who are never kind, truthful, moral or upstanding. Those with the most trust are the ones who have more greed to take advantage
