Yesterday I met a childhood friend and schoolmate for lunch. He is a pilot for Southwest Airlines. He had an overnight in Corpus Christi. He is also a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel who flew A-10s, and then F-16s. I found out that he is also a FFDO (Federal Flight Deck Officer). Which means he is one of those airline pilots who is armed during flight. The issued weapon for him is a Glock 19. We had a good laugh about how it brings him shame to admit it is a pretty good pistol that he is very good with. There is all kinds of training and recertifications he has to go through for all this a few times a year. And he told me all the rules and regulations pilots have to follow while flying armed. It was great catching up with him.

Hi,
I'm cookin' my own supper tonight, well, heating it up anyway. It'll be brats and beers for the game tonight. Go Brewers! I also spent a couple hours at the range today. I slumped a little with my 10mm but did pretty good with the Mod.3 and the Mark IV. I'll post some targets later, or tomorrow, maybe. We'll see how the game goes and how many beers happen.

just finished using the leaf blower to blow the leafs into the street and my backyard neighbors yard......after all, it is HER tree.......so they are HER leaves......
then as i was using the leaf blower, i may have found another area where the rain water is getting into my basement....
i had just enough of Flex Seal to do the job....but as good as that stuff is...??
the can's lid sucks apples thru a martini straw....
the damned thing NEVER seals...and i gotta whack it hard with a hammer........so i just destroyed the can...dammit.
but i had very little left, so this time, no big loss.
but jesus h. christ...MAKE A BETTER CAN...>!!!!!
