several bushes fell over and a backyard tree cracked bc of the heavy rains. Trying to transplant them as well as I can.

Started weed eating/edging on the yard. Another 2 and a half to 3 day job. Then another full day mowing and cleaning the zero turn.

I have to admit that I'm looking forward to mowing in a couple of days. After I cleaned it up from the last mowing cycle, I put new blades on it. Can't wait to put the new blades to work! I know I am weird.

so finished clearing/cleaning up for now - was covered in mud/rain, bushes and tree parts and fertilizer. What a job. Anyone back online again. I'll have another go tomorrow when the rains subside.

Got the car oil changed this morning in the driveway. A trip to Lowes for weed killer and gassed up the wife's car. Also changed out lawnmower blade. Might be last time I change the oil--getting too old to be crawling on the ground under the car. The ramps really help but I think age is catching up with me. Getting really windy outside and it will be raining tonight. We have gotten a lot of rain here!

Sitting in emergency room with my wife. Her BP jumped up to 212/86. Haven’t seen a doctor yet been here over two hours. Saturday night, Halloween and only one doctor on duty.

After several hours Linda's BP was stabilized and allowed to go home. She has an appointment with her Oncologist tomorrow afternoon and will be making an appointment with her cardiologist asap. I don't scare that easily but was very much so over her very high BP. Hopefully there hasn't been irreparable damage to her heart, other organs and blood vessels.

ohh boy...

one of the many reasons i hate going to ANY hospital.....that dreaded LONG waiting.

as the others, i too am pulling for your wife, i know there will be an answer for this happening, and she will be back to a normal BP in short time. keep us posted, and best of luck to the 2 of you..!!!!!!

Having a cup of coffee and feeding Carrie. It rained hard all night long so everything is soaked. Puppy is doing great and learning quickly. I sure do miss Maggie but I know it was for the best. Carrie will be getting second set of shots this week and soon we will be going for morning walks.

Both replaced micro-comps.

Thanks, she is doing much better adjustments made in BP meds. Plus one med taken only when BP gets higher than 160 for immediate relief. Unfortunately chemo therapy is being put on hold for at least three weeks.

finishing up my coffee, wife too is getting herself primped...we gotta go to the polls before 7 AM, so i can get a parking space...the doors open at 7 AM...

and we BOTH gotta vote for the RED candidate that's running for our mayor...over the Socialist dingus...

and place our votes for ALL the other "red" candidates.....

i fear though, the morons that "like" the socialist, will out number us REAL Americans........

I early voted on Saturday. Might be a losing battle in my state. Just had the first cup and feeding the puppy. Her new trick is that she has to sleep with me all night! I don't know if that's good or bad but it keeps her quiet. I take her out about every 3 hours and the is getting the idea. Hopefully she will be trained soon and life can go back to normal.
