Wrong! All the Kimber Rapide are series 70 design.

I don't see me ever buying one complete, at a store. Way better deals to be had. Especially if you put in some of the work yourself.

@Belt Fed what has you liking the phase5 other than it being the only ambi for the 10? i know why i install them! i shoot more left handed than rright.

Just used to closing the bolt on a new mag with one. i'd be lookin for that lever if it didn't have one. when i had a truck with a stick shift, i used to try and look for the clutch at a red light with the auto. just muscle memory. what little muscle i have.

Yes, as far as I know they are still building both series. I once handled a nice bobtailed Kimber and another nice model both were series 80. I walked away disappointed.
The Rapide series .45 and 10mm's I've shot or owned have been well worth the money.

I held that Kimber ice this morning again, man it sure does feel nice. still didn't buy it. BUT i mighta spent a lot of money on two guns last night from grab a gun and lot of money this morning on glass.
