What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

My trigger came today. The lower has shipped but I probably won't get it until at least Tuesday as my FFL is closed Mondays.

A new set of regulators for my cutting torch rig. It may not sound firearm related, but I assure you it is.

Damn things are expensive too.
Hell yes they are.

I had a set my dad bought as a spare set an an auction in the 1980’s, and brought to work (I could grab oxy & acetylene tanks, or even a torch with no problem—but regulators are freakin GOLD where I work…); somebody stole ‘em a few years ago, and work paid for replacement…holy crap.

I have been without torches for a few years and recently I came across a pair. One of those small sets in a plastic carrier and a regular set that used to be my father in law's. The small set worked great for me on one small job then the oxy tank ran out. So I get out the big set and the Oxy regulator is blowing out of all the holes. I'm not positive but I think I have an older set up in a cabinet in my dad's garage, but I am impatient so I bought a set of Amazon. Now I just gotta figure out where to get the small tank filled up.

I'm also waiting for my wife to finish wiring my garage so I can hook up my Millermatic 200. The 130 is 110 and works okay for what I need it for mostly but I really want to run the big machine.

Fun thing is…

I “replaced” my set with a top of the line unit from the local welding supply…and presented that receipt to work.

Then bought a set from Harbor Freight for about half what the other set ran that I actually brought in to work…

Waiting for them to get stolen, so I can get another top of the line set…;)
