You're far too nice to your UPS/FedEx drivers.1000 rounds of 9mm for my pet Kuna to eat up.
WOW, i've never seen 5000 rounds of ammo. You're far too nice to your UPS/FedEx drivers.. I do try to meet them outside when I've ordered 5000 rounds of something.
Last time I saw that much ammo was on ammo detail in the Army! I only order up to 1000 because I don't want my door kicked in.WOW, i've never seen 5000 rounds of ammo.

I came really close to pulling the trigger, but I dodged the bullet. Sorry. Too much sun. I was looking, but I put my big girl’s pants on and said no. Can’t rationalize a new gun with so much going on right now, and I still have a project to complete. What has happened to me?? Adulting is so boring.
.
Hi,
I was out running errands and stopped by a LGS to look around. I wanted to buy something. I almost bought something. But decided to wait until I've saved up extra gig money so I can buy something more and bigger.
No, there wasn't a single Hi Point in the whole store. Drat.
Thank you for your indulgence,,
BassCliff

The .45 GAP deal Smells like GT Distributors during Covid, possibly in Austin, TXYou watch too much TV. I'm shooting no less than 1000 rounds a month, sometimes closer to 1500 depending on the month. 90% of that 9mm (some 22 now and then when I'm tired/lazy).
That's fives cases of ammo. A standard case might measure roughly 13 x 8.5 x 7.5 inches and weigh around 4 pounds. Easily fits on a shelf in the garage.
During COVID I found an ammo deal on .45 GAP and bought 13,000 rounds (13 cases) on sight (it was priced at about 1/2 of normal price, as things weren't moving/stores weren't selling physical inventory as much). I have a picture where 8000 rounds (8 cases) are visible - the other 5 are behind these (different load, same caliber). .45 GAP worked great for USPSA production, which was 10rd capacity at the time, and the Glock was easy to re-spring for the much lighter (minor PF) training load they had available.
Got the gun for under $250 - at a time when 9mm was sky high because production had gone down.
I ended up shooting half and sending half to auction after covid, keeping two cases for myself. At auction, it went for double what I paid for it, making the ammo essentially "free" that I'd shot/kept.
Bonus: Conversion barrels exist for the Glock 37, which has the heavier G20 style slide. Makes .40, especially minor-loaded .40, really pleasant.
