That's an Selle SMP TRK (Italien) anatomical racing bike saddle both for men and woman since it takes prevents damage to both Men & Women's "nether-region". various body components with the cut-out and shaped to fit the form of both's pelvic region.

Cycling helps strengthen the legs, and for cardio-vascular health which applies to operating firearms in certain circumstances.

In both, that area contains the "Pudendal Nerve" and in men, blood vessels that directly support a certain male empennage.

The pudendal nerve controls movement and feeling in your pelvic area, including the genitals and ****.

Excessive pressure in that area can damage the nerve and blood vessels causing pain & damage.
Older bike saddles inflicted high pressure (due to body weight being focused) to that area causing damage.

The rest of the saddles' design fit the shape of the pelvis to distribute weight evenly, and much more comfortable for the rider..
I have the same saddle on 2 of my 4 bikes, and will be getting a new indoor cycling machine and will move the one used saddle to it, and put the new one on my main bike.

Nope, i could probably by two Hy Points for what that seat cost, some of them cycle parts is not cheap. years ago i knew a guy that had 5 grand in a bike, that was years ago too. no tellin what it would cost now. but you could take two fingers and put under the frame and pick it up with ease. but we were lifting weights pretty heavy back then too. probably couldn't do it with two hands now. lol
