Thank you I've been thinking about smithing when I retire in a year and a half but a lifetime of electrical work has taken a toll on my hands just had surgery as a matter of fact for arthritis in my thumb the one I need the most unfortunately.
When you do good finish work on a gun I realized two things you don't get paid enough and it's tough on your hands lots of filing and sanding.
I'd say you made a good choice if you can retire with a good pension then you can build a few and hope to break even or make a few bucks !
I just finished a build and it's at the nitride shop will have back on Tuesday or Wednesday I'll post some pics it's a G-Man super 38 the build came out very well.
Here's a couple pics. It will be all black nitride except the barrel.
