Just ordered some s&w sd40 mags because yesterday I purchased a s&w sd40.
I have the 9mm version and these things are only $310.
Loaded 3 entire cans of 40short&weak.

Brought this home yesterday evening. According to the Ruger S/N lookup the BH was shipped in 2024. There are 100 of the HSM Bear Loads (2 boxes), 100 of the Hornady Custom (5 boxes), 20 Leverevolution (1 box), 80 of the Barnes XPB bullets (4 boxes), 150 Starline brass in the bags and 50 rounds loaded minus the 6 he shot checking it out. Those 6 are the only rounds fired after leaving the factory. Not pictured is a jug with about 3 pounds of TiteGroup powder he included and 6 A-Zoom snap caps in the cylinder.

While not a gun, but I did order a years subscription to Rifle & Handgun magazine, ever since @Talyn was talking about it, I got a couple issues at my local Walmart, really like the magazine a lot.

It arrived today. My Last 1911.

Very nice. Nice finish overall. Colt has really improved the fit and Series 80 trigger since my last Colts 40 yrs ago (Series 70 & 80 Gold Cups) which were very loose & had crappy triggers.

Crisp safety but will be replaced with an Ed Brown Slim Ambi. Putting an Ed Brown extended mag release & a Wilson extended slide release but all those parts haven't arrived yet. Will also replace the OEM grip panels with Super Scoop VZ G10's. And will put a Wilson add-on magwell on it.

Completed & submitted my $100 rebate form. Thanks Colt !!

I'll get my gunsmith to do a "throat & polish" job on it since the transition area needs to be melded together.
